Financing Options
Kami Speed accepts buy now, pay later financing at checkout. If the parts list for your build is bigger than this month's budget, you can split the cost into interest-free installments instead of putting it on a card. Your order ships on our normal schedule — the financing provider pays us in full up front, so there's no delay compared to paying any other way.
We've sold JDM and sport-compact performance parts since 2004, and the orders people split into payments are almost always the big ones: a wheel and tire package, a full coilover setup, a turbo kit, a pair of Bride seats. Below is exactly what each option costs and which one fits which cart.

What people finance here
Financing earns its keep on the parts where the right answer costs more than the cheap answer. These are the categories we most often see split into payments:
- Wheels Gram Lights, Weds and other forged and cast sets, in proper fitment
- Coilovers and suspension BC Racing, HKS Hipermax, Cusco — the single biggest change you can make to how a car drives

How to pay over time
- Add your parts to the cart and go to checkout as normal.
- At the payment step, choose Affirm or Sezzle instead of a card.
- Answer a few questions for an instant decision. You'll see the exact payment amount and schedule before you commit.
- Confirm the order. We ship on our normal timeline and you pay the provider directly.
Financing questions
Does Kami Speed offer financing?
Yes. Kami Speed accepts buy now, pay later financing through Affirm and Sezzle. You choose the option at checkout — there's no separate application to fill out beforehand.
Is there a credit check to finance car parts?
It depends on the option. Sezzle's Pay in 4 doesn't involve a hard credit check. Affirm runs an eligibility check, and seeing your options doesn't affect your credit score. Longer monthly plans from either provider may involve a harder check to set your rate.
Do I pay interest?
Not on the short plans. Affirm Pay in 4 and Sezzle Pay in 4 are both 0% — you pay the price of the parts and nothing more. Longer monthly plans can carry interest: Affirm quotes 0–36% APR based on credit, and Sezzle's monthly plans go through lending partners at their own rates. Either way, your exact rate and total are shown before you confirm the order.
How much can I finance?
The provider sets your limit, not us. Add your parts to the cart and select Affirm or Sezzle at checkout — the plans you qualify for and the amount available to you appear before you commit to anything.
Does my order ship right away if I finance it?
Yes. The financing provider pays us in full at the time of purchase, so a financed order is processed exactly like a card order. In-stock parts ship on our normal schedule, and special-order items follow their usual lead time regardless of how you paid.
Can I finance sale items and Scratch & Dent parts?
Yes. Financing applies to your order total, discounted and open-box items included. Whether a given plan is available still depends on the cart total and the provider's decision.
What happens if I return a part I financed?
An approved return is refunded back to the financing provider, which then adjusts or cancels your remaining payments. Keep making scheduled payments until the provider confirms the adjustment on their end. Our standard return policy applies either way.
Can I finance a backordered or special-order part?
Yes, and it's worth knowing how the timing works: the payment schedule starts on the day you place the order, not the day the part ships. On a Japan-sourced special order with a long lead time, you may be several payments in before the part arrives.
Is financing available outside the United States?
Availability depends on your billing country. The financing options you're eligible for appear automatically at checkout — if you don't see them, they aren't offered in your region.
Who do I contact about a payment problem?
Contact the financing provider directly for anything to do with payments, schedules, or your account — they hold the loan, not us. For questions about the parts, fitment, shipping, or a return, email [email protected].
Kami Speed is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. Financing is provided by third parties and is subject to their approval, terms, and eligibility requirements. Rates, available plans, and limits are determined by the provider based on your purchase amount and creditworthiness, and may vary.
Payment options through Affirm are subject to an eligibility check and are provided by Affirm's lending partners. Rates run from 0–36% APR; the Affirm Pay in 4 option is 0% APR. A down payment may be required. Sezzle Pay in 4 is offered at 0% interest; longer monthly plans are offered through Sezzle's lending partners and may carry interest.
